Reader´s Digest's readers voted Visa International as
the "Most Trusted Brand" in 2002, in the payment cards'
category. This prize was offered as a result of the market research conducted
by Reader´s Digest in 18 countries in 2001, under the name of "European
Trusted Brands 2002".
The main goal of the study was to identify the European customers' most
trusted and appreciated brands in 30 categories. The respondents evaluated
the products taking into account the quality, the image and the way the
products meet their needs. The study results indicated Visa International
as the most trusted brand in the payment cards category in 16 countries,
including France, Spain, UK, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
The European study run by Reader's Digest resulted from some 38,000 interviews
in the last six months of 2001.
